Participation in the FINDERS KEEPERS Designers Market in Copenhagen!
In October 2024, I had the exciting opportunity to take part in Finders Keepers in Copenhagen, one of the country’s most renowned markets. Alongside 200 other artists and designers, I showcased my embroidery work to an amazing audience.
Commissioned by VANS Europe to create three pieces for their Athens Stores
I was commissioned by VANS for a special project that brought together large-scale window installations and a series of hands-on workshops across their Athens stores. In Spring 2022, as part of the Wear On campaign, Alexandra Diona created three original artworks for VANS locations in Athens (The Mall Athens, Golden Hall, and Athens Metro Mall), transforming the storefronts into vibrant, textile-based installations. Alongside the installations, a series of four workshops too
My first group exhibition : Motherhood
May 2023 was a profoundly meaningful month for me, as I participated in the Motherhood exhibition at Taf in Athens. This group exhibition explored the many facets of motherhood, and it marked the first time I presented a work dedicated to my own mother. Taking Part in Europe’s Sustainable Fashion Initiative
The European Commission, as part of its broader sustainability program and its more specific initiatives on textiles and fashion, launched several actions. I had the honor of representing Greece in this campaign, which ran from January to April 2023. In January 2023, I traveled to Belgium for two important meetings alongside other fashion representatives from across Europe.
